While you may not need templates for design, they can be used to spark creativity, or to help your customer decide how they want their website to look. I've visited sites like Pixelmill.com and Template Monster in the past to get some ideas (and it usually works). If you have a customer who is in a GIANT hurry you can also use these to speed up the process. Pixelmill has tableless designs (done with CSS) as well as sharepoint skins. Template Monster has templates for just about everything from Flash, Swish, Dreamweaver, Front Page, Expression, and more.
I also found some tools to combat forum spam, and I explain how to get banned for life at fitness.com (be sure to read those forum rules!).
http://bbantispam.com/ is where you can find the Advanced Textual Confirmation the you can get around the SQL part by following the directions here
